Sam (Samantha) Franza (1970), an artist from Milan (Italy), works in the fields of illustration, graphic design, advertising and photography.

"In photography, she loves to exploit situations and subjects, trying to give them a perspective and an emotional dimension. In portraits she tries to convey the soul and the unusual sides of her subjects. Black and white china drawings are the form of expression she uses mostly; her stroke and style are often associated with comics. She also uses watercolor and other materials and techniques. A work of research and creativity that can also be found in her recent works, in which she creates from recycled materials and using irregular and dynamic paintings" (Daniele Bergamaschi).
